This site consists of our desk in the corner of the lab, currently with shams running Windows and usually showing some live streams, like Seattle and Research Channel, out to the hallway. This is also one of the potential sites for the persistent CyberPortals project.

[edit] Audio
This is the hard part. We need a decent mic, some sort of echo cancellation (Polycom/Gentner would probably be overkill since it's only 1 mic) and some speakers that, somehow, won't bother the surrounding offices too much. Maybe some absorbent foam on the wall it faces?

None now; for the future: probably just an HD camera facing the hallway, behind the glass in the lab for easier security purposes. I just tested this and there's not too much glare.

Currently, we have a 720p Gateway plasma screen and a 1080p Dell LCD facing the glass. The former will probably be replaced at some point since it's not full HD and it's not ours.
[edit] Computers
As said before, shams running Windows. One computer will probably suffice for this site, unless uncompressed HD is too taxing for 1 machine. Software-wise, moving to Linux might be wise since Ultragrid supports it.
